The past 2 days added a new dimension to my theory on expectations. Everyone knows that the consequence of not meeting expectations can be terrible but interestingly, meeting a bad expectation can have amazingly doubly terrible effect!
Say if you expected sth to be bad, if the thing really turns out to be as terrible as expected or even worse, the impact of it just doubles, quaduples whatever...
