Although the respite was a little shortlived.. i had a lot of fun! :) It's also the first time i tried using the Panasonic FZ18 with fantastic 18x zoom. haha

I'm still really new to the camera.. will take time to warm up it and fully maximise its potential.

No Tulips :(

Last year, i bought tulips from ikea and watched it bloom. It was such an exciting process that i thought i wanna do it again this yr.

UNFORTUNATELY, ikea didnt import tulips this yr! :(

I have been looking forward to bringing tulips home to cheer me up a little..

My mom found this drawing i drew some time back and asked if i still want it.

I realise i didnt have the habit of dating my drawings in the past so i have no idea when i drew this.

weird mood

i was initially qt happy but dont know why i'm feeling weird and unexplainably unsettled now.

i pondered abt what could possibly make me feel better and i thought of a hug first.

then i realised hugs were abundantly available back in rj but rather scarce these days.

maybe i should bake something tmr or sleep soon so i will stop feeling weird.

this is weird.

I survived it all! OnG and Patho :)

Now, it is a well deserved break and i hope i'd be able to rest well :)

I'm still having myalgia, throat feels funny and general malaise.. Hope i'll get well by this wkend! :)

downtime

it started with headache in the morn which was relieved by 1 paracetamol.

after lunch, the headache came back and i could hardly focus since!

just took my temp and it's actually 37.9!!!

then when i showered, i realise there are 7 mysterious bruises on my upper and lower limbs.. i wonder if they're related!

i really dont want to fall overtly sick. pls pray for me.

On a Random Note

In case u're thinking i've been surviving on caffeine from my berry tea, the tea has NO caffeine!

A substantial amt of caffeine intake is a risk factor for osteoprosis..

Today, i had a revelation that my current source of calcium is from chocolates.

That's why i like milk chocolate :)

Colic and Pain

Today is worth rmbring cos i spent dont know how long toiling in pain and making damn a lot of trips to the toilet.

My gd frens bought me buscopan! yay

On an interesting note, perhaps it is wise to note not to eat dbgh mian, although the actual cause of my colic can only be postulated :)

Now i have impending gastric pain from hunger cos i didnt eat enough for dinner:(

Waa.. my gastrointestinal tract is acting weird today.

Tmr will be a better day :)

Obsession

This is my latest favourite :) Bought my second pack today!

Yang says this is my new obsession.

I've been trying different teas but this is still the best. I was quite sad that peach and mango tasted like TCM and apple&cinnamon tasted weird also!

I shall stick to the crimson blend of the berries for now :)

I cant believe that 2008 is gone. Just now when i was in the cab, the taxi driver was telling me "Last year the oil prices were horrendous!"

Hello 2009!

My last few hrs of 2008 was spent with some friends over steamboat and xiao long bao buffet. I've been wanting to go for it since marc raved abt how gd it is and how he and 3 other guys could finish 25 longs of xiao long baos. I think today we only had 6 longs? Damn far from their record la!

I am quite happy. I wasnt really in a celebratory mood today but on the train, wenyang had the idea to catch the fireworks. Before we knew it, we were running like crazy trying to find a place in kallang with a good view.

The best view we could get by running from kallang mrt was from the nicole highway



As u can see, there's a hole btwn the ferris wheel and ritz. I was so hoping that the fireworks will be seen right at the gap!

But too bad... most of the fireworks were blocked by suntec and ritz :(


The more unfortunate thing is my camera ran out of batt. Before i left home today, i was thinking that i prob wont need to use my camera with an slr around. So i didnt bother bringing the extra batt. Next time i will just bring!!!

I took about 10 photos before the camera died. Here are the rest in a collage!



Sorry it's a bit small. I was experimenting with the new picasa collage software and the largest size i could upload directly with a click of a button from it is this size! Nevertheless, i like the new improved version that allows more user customization. I shall play with it more after patho :)
