I picked up this book about Audrey Hepburn out of ennui yesterday. Hmm... to be honest, before reading about her, i only knew she was a well-respected movie star, who i found really beautiful (especially her eyes, there's sth angelic abt her). There's really so much more to her than what meets the eye. I found myself in awe as i progressed through the pages and ended in tears when she died of cancer at the age of 63. It's not hard to consider her to be the most admired and emulated women of the 20th century, just think abt how she influenced the way people dress and even altered the way people viewed themselves. It's just truly amazing! i highly recommend the book :) The pictures inside are really pretty too, especially those which her ebullience transcends the pages. Here's one very popular picture :)
