Apology

To those who have seen the impatient side of me these few days. i hope u'd understand. It's been quite a bad week for me. In fact it's been quite eventful for me since the start of O&G, but in a bad way :(

So sorry that i appear to be less attentive and have been complaining more.

Thanks for putting up with me.

I SURVIVED

I'm so glad my most dreaded days of the week are OVER! I survived a night call with much fragmented sleep + Woke up early to bathe + get to tutorial room in time for Q&A at 7.30 am and then back to school at 12.45 pm for ethics test, stayed awake thru a string of lectures and a bit of playhouse rehearsal.

I must say i felt guilty not having read all my ethics stuff.. i hope i'd pass :S

Anyway, because of my busy days.. it feels like i've been away for qt long when it's only 1 night. Quite a lot of things happened at home!

My parents called me in the evening today to tell me my granny just had a abdo surgery and is in Mt Alvernia. I rushed there and i felt terribly inadequate cos pple kept asking me what's happening and i was quite clueless. I am not informed and i couldnt get access to her casenotes. I felt even more awful that granny was in pain, pain score of 10/10 but i couldnt do anything but to tell her she's on a really powerful analgesic (pethidine) infusion hoping it'd help her psychologically.

When i came home, my TV got hijacked. Cos my parents' tv broke down. Now my corner table looks ugly with all the untidy wires :(

I must say... it's been a rather eventful 2 weeks. I think i've had enough.
Please... let my days get better!

Turning Point

You know how sometimes u can get to a point where things cant be worse and the only thing that can happen is things becoming better? It's analogous to the minimum pt we use to calculate in A math :) A turning point!

Today i feel a bit better.

On Sat we celebrated Ryan and Wenxiang's Bday at peperoni. I was early so i drew this for them!







The remaining of the event was covered by weixiang. Cos his camera is more pro. haha

I like Peperoni cos i get to doodle.


This concept reminds me of Burke's cafe which use to be at the raffles city fountain. I remember than jaymie and i liked that place a lot :)

Ystdy i saw a random moth on someone's car.


It's huge but its wings are sadly qt damaged :( Wonder what happened...

Today, i ate a passion fruit :) I realise not a lot of people have seen the real fruit although its fragrance and flavour are so distinct and so recognisable :)





Sour to taste but overall very pleasant to the palate :)

Have a gd deepavalli holiday everyone! My next wk is crazy busyyyy.. hope i'll survive it. Wish me luck! Lotsa them!!!

Comfort

I found some comfort when i suddenly became amazed again that i came for just 2 cells.

And for you my friend, to be able to read this. Do you have any idea how many hurdles u've cleared? Right from the number of chromosomes, to the potential lethal mistakes that could have occured during cell divisions..

Yet you and i are here, whole.

I should stop feeling incomplete :)

I have to tell myself to quickly find my footing.

stop feeling damaged and incomplete.

Tomorrow will be a better day.

Hopeful Anticipation

I have a wish now and it's that the weather will be perfect this weekend.

The rain seems to promise a good night's rest, but i cant help to link the downpour to a depressive mood.

On an optimistic note, perhaps it's been raining so much lately so that the long weekend ahead will be sunny with perfect blue sky for some photos :)

Please, it's all i wish for...

内伤累累

I never knew it was possible to feel this hurt.

When i told my dad about what happened today, i felt for the first time in the day that i wanted to cry. I fought back the tears cos i was on the train.

Thankful for my friends' presence, I enjoyed their company... but on my way back home, i was overwhelmed again.

Anyway, i found out today that it's terrible when u assume the best of others and some people just make erroneous conclusions of you.

Has anyone told you how important Trust is?

Perhaps i felt terrible today cos it's in a way double the impact... i felt stupid too, cos i believe i somehow allowed it to happen again.

Anyway, hope my 内伤s heal proper...

Lost and Found!

This is one of my favourite works apart from my spirals i posted last month:


It's supposed to be a tree top-down view of a pig looking up :)

Most people find it an interesting perspective :) It's such a pity tt it got dirtied during the transport process after an exhibition :(

Singapore Biennale

Going to Sg Biennale is one of the happiest thing i've done this hols. I got reminded of my solo visit to Tate Modern in London which i'm dead sure i want to return :)

If u dont rmbr abt my post abt how amazed i was with the Art at Tate Modern, this is one of my favourite exhibita there!



Imagine the ceiling to be a HUGE mirror.. The sun u see is actually a semicircle made full by the mirror. The huge mirror also means u can see ur reflection when u look up and there were many visitors creating interesting formations while lying on the floor :)

My friends and i went first to the old cityhall. We arrived a little early so we spent some time taking photos of the building!



I didnt quite like the scorching sun so i took these pics in the shade of the building only :)

I wasnt tall enough to take a proper pic of this drawing. This kid will be very gd friends with me cos he/she obviously loves green! :):)

Looks like she fell happily?? Anyway, i think it's quite 难得 to find someone who likes photos to be taken of. I personally like taking photos of others more than being in photos myself :)

I'd be so damn happy if my playroom was like tt when i was small. Unfortunately parents usually assume our favourite colours to be pink for girls and blue for boys..

Maggots galoreee!

I love this google earth exhibit. They give u post its to stick a msg on it!


I found my house!!! But it was covered by a passing cloud :(


It was really funny how some pple made the effort to stick the locations of ERPs too! lol

Blue and green.. perfect combination to make me love it :)

Personally, i didnt like video exhibits as much.


I thought gab might like this exhibit some how :) i dont know whyyy..

YAYY! Presenting my FAVOURITE exhibit :)


This exhibit has to be the biggest pull factor for me to visit biennale cos i've seen pics of them. How cool is it to have a stretch of small plants planted close together like this?




That was all i knew when i saw some pics online... but i was so surprised when i walked to somewhere mid of its length and looked back...

The plants are 2 dimentional right.. so i saw how they formed straight lines...


And when i looked back at the plants i have walked past, they're coloured on the opposite side!!!








How not to be amazed?

Actually if u ask me, the following exhibit actually come close in its amaze factor


Unfortunately, the artist is so damn gd tt even cameras get tricked! This car is actually concave inwards.. but it looks like it is convexing outwards right?

As u walk past the exhibit, the car will seem to turn towards u.. I only took 1 picture cos i didnt do justice to it :)

This is interesting!
