Question

I received a question asking why i have more guy friends today. I'm not sure if i've ever analysed it before but i was able to reply to that quite quickly.

How true it is, i do not know though... what do u think? haha

Perhaps it's because my personality and general interests are closer to that of guys.
If u realise, even the girlfriends i'm closer to are not typical girls.

Also, it could be my general tendency to prefer things that are different. I believe that with exposure to different things, i learn more new things and gain new insights of myself.

If u think about it, I probably can do the girl things on my own but it's the guy things that might truly be guy when done with guys, like soccer.

If u know me, the learning of new things thrills me and i like things that are interesting... And things that are different are more likely to be interesting.

Osteoporosis

I unknowingly drank 3 cups of tea today. Although i have drank more than that before, but i'm qt convinced that the 3 cups today had to do with my new tumbler :) I really enjoy using it. haha

Anyway, we're taught that frequent consumption of tea and coffee can deplete ur bone strength. Not only am i not drinking milk everyday like most of my guy frens do, i'm still happily drinking tea and coffee when i'm gender-wisely more predisposed to osteoprosis. ha

I always tell my parents to drink milk but i dont do so myself daily, even though most of you know that i like milk very much :) I think that's the case for most doctors when they give ideal healthy lifestyle advice. ya?

Anyway, dont forget to remind your loved ones to drink more milk, esp our moms and grandmas! :) You should drink milk too, it's good to start young :)

green tumbler

I used my green tumbler for the first time to make green tea! I really like the convenience of sipping the warmifying drink with just a flick of my thumb when i had to uncap my previous thermosflask with much difficulty especially when there is a suction created from the cooled air :)

Yay, looks like i'm going to like this tumbler alot :)

simple Favourite Day

I realised i have titled my post with 'Saturday' before and not 'Favourite Day'!

Saturday is my favourite day and today is no exception :)

I had kaya toast breakfast with my dad today, read a bit of patho, took leonard's car to Funan where i went to Harvey Norman to see if i can buy my dad anything for his bday. His bday is round the corner! Then i dropped by bodyshop cos there was so much talk abt it by the girls but i didnt find anything i like:( I thought i would be able to treat myself to something initially! In the end, i bought myself something green from green starbucks!!!

I'm really contented with my simple day :)

Baby step

I finally got down to do some reading after some encouragement from my friends.

This may be shocking to some medicine pple... today was actually my first time studying in science library. I was abit disorientated... didnt know the studying tables were at level 6 till today. *sheepish*

I rmbr for so many xmas, i'd be busy with the preparation in the kitchen for the feast at my grandma's place for the church carollers and I usually start studying during the peri-xmas period. So this yr i made some improvement! :)

Y'know, although i really didnt read the meaty topics today.. i thought i deserved a little reward and i treated myself to one ferrero rocher :)

It's so funny cos my mom called it forever rocher until i corrected her :) haha

Xmas is so near but sadly, i dont really feel more xmasy than a few days before :(
Wonder how this yr's xmas will be like :)

I think i should learn to not let others affect me negatively so easily and learn to love and take care of myself more.

I hope this pendulating happiness and chuiness will stop soon :(

It's been such a long while since my mood feel this light. I went to catch the sunrise thinking that it would really lift my mood a bit and thankfully, there was also the sea breeze that made me feel better!

This is very bad.. christmas is near and my mood is far from festive.
Today i actually changed my plan from what i think would have made me happy to go home. Isnt this anhedonia?

My energy and motivation level is all time low.

Sigh

Wish all these things nv happened :(

Is this supposed to be some kind of punishment? what did i do wrong?

D90 fun Continues

For $12.90, Lunch at Harry's is inclusive of soup or salad of the day and dessert. This is really worth it esp if u're hungry. I couldnt finish my main and dessert!

I spent some time at the industrial park near my home and i took some photos of *yawn* flowers. Sorry if u find the pics similar to those i took at Hortpark!
But at least i managed to snap a pic of a Bee!


This statue used to be outside the old orchard point. Pretty interesting in my opinion :)

I love the vibrant colours and being able to play with the manual focus :)

Some of you might rmbr that i'm a very visual person and i really like to use my ears too. I also love the sound the shutter makes :) Definitely made me feel better today :)

Hortpark

O&G is finally over! I'm so so glad :)

I was asked why i dislike O&G so much. To be honest, i'm not very sure if it is the subject itself or the awful experiences surrounding this period of time. It has been really distressing.

Anyway, to help clear my mind bit. I went to spend some time with nature today :) Albeit the disheartening rain at first, i manage to take some nice pictures! I guess it was a bonus that the droplets of water added a special touch :)










Yang commented that the leaves appear more prominent than the flowerlets. I realised i have taken a lot of photos of lantana from qt a lot of places. maybe i'd post the photos below for comparison!
